Meet Our Senior Physiotherapist
Alasdair Jones BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
Alasdair graduated from Robert Gordon University (Scotland) in 1998 and spent the following 25 years working in both the public and private healthcare sectors in the UK. He enjoyed a broad range of experience within the NHS, primarily across musculoskeletal outpatients and orthopaedics paediatric.
He then spent 12 years building multidisciplinary clinics within the East of England, working with consultants, osteopaths, occupational health departments, universities, sports therapists, and occupational therapists.
Alasdair has also worked within the UK government program to provide disability assessments and partnered with the NHS in private practice to improve patient choice for those with short-term and longer-term spinal pain. This involved coordinating care with osteopaths, chiropractors, and physiotherapists over three years.
More recently, he worked in a prestigious London private hospital, leading the musculoskeletal outpatient team for 12 months before managing the wider physiotherapy team throughout the hospital during the pandemic.
Alasdair relocated to Australia from to join the RAR Therapy team in early 2023 and is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals and ensuring they are resilient to any future injury through education and detailed planning. If there is interest, he also enjoys sharing the latest research in physiotherapy with his clients to empower them to take control of their physiotherapy journey.
